"Darling," Brittany implied in a matter-of-fact tone, "I have never even begin to think of vacationing in such a delightful place!" The tropics of Parais seemed to sweep past her in the convertible as if she was longingly watching a film. She needn't live vicariously this time, though, as all her hopes and dreams materialized all around: Forbidden Trees held lavish fruits of lipstick red, blush pink, and martini green. It felt like she was peeking into a secret garden locked away by an angel!
She sat back, bit her bottom lip, fixed her bug-eye sunglasses and sunhat, and gave way to the sigh of contentment. Her life could end right there, and she wouldn't mind being "spiritually stuck" between the pomegranate Daiquiri drinks and mint leaves of the equatorial Paradis - as long as she was allowed to keep the shoes.

 Slithering across the room, she provides an air of temptation to all whose heads turn. Everyone feels compelled to get onto their hands and to satisfy the alluring, stunning woman in black. She's the kind of chick that makes them cry from the bites - the girl that all desire for her paradoxical venom. She can poison and she can heal.

All who followed were ambivalent as to their thoughts on the angel. Little did they know they should have followed their instinct feeling of intimidation.

She does not fall in love.

It’s a cool night in the city: the winter’s being seduced to the Southern Hemisphere while the roof tops are beginning to welcome the sun’s kisses as if they had gone on a first date. Girlfriends are putting their finishing touches of lush makeup onto their smooth skin. Throwing on a fur vest for a last goodbye to icy weather, and checking their stilettos in the mirror for confidence and magnetism, they go off into the nightlife of trendy DJs and exclusive parties. Eyes never cease to follow.

The sun’s light is creating flowery shadows on the spring green grass through the new leaves dancing amongst the trees. My laced parasol fits just right beneath their sweet branches. I am searching through these cool patches for a bouquet of daisies to water in my icy-white porcelain vase. There are pastel-coloured blossoms already kissing the breezy spring air. The bunny rabbits are peeking from beneath the soft earth, the shy frogs are hopping into the reflected skies. Behind the hydrangeas I have found my dearests, my namesake.

If I dance to the beat of the Balkan flutes, gypsy tambourines, and French horns, will there be a melody fit for the pattern of drum sticks and harmonicas? I move to the prayers of hope in the faerie-dust dirt roads between the lavish mountains. I lure the peasantry into the kaleidoscope of sounds. We cultivate the bohemian breath of fire into patterns of bare shoulders and holy accordions. We drift and whirl intertwined beads of gold souls along the edges of Sun.
