A Sprouting Lady - Charlotte Ronson Spring 2012

Charlotte Ronson SS 2012

Sept. 10, 2011 - New York

It’s springtime and a mother calls her daughter to come  help with pinning up the laundry on the line in the newly flourishing garden. The daughter dances down the stairs, high-spirited and rosy because she is wearing a new white trapeze robe she has sewn full of bows, tea stains, and petite daisies. Her mother is so proud, “What a splendid dress!" It reminded the mother of Claude Monet's most famous piece of art - Water Lilies; it was incredible how much her kin had grown into an artist. The mother could easily tell a true woman was in the making.
Her own seed. How proud she was.
